Hello! My name is John Goode. I am the sole proprietor of Watermark Tile. In pursuit of the infinite possibilities of my artwork, I create meditational visions for pleasure, introspection and relaxation with permanent architectural artworks. My line includes handmade, aqueous monoprint tiles, handmade field tile (to match the monoprints), and handmade trim, bars and bull nose tiles. * Watermark Pledge: All tiles are original, and of first quality. Watermark Tile is located in Austin, Texas. Located in the Texas Hill Country by Lake Travis, where the local elements compliment the day to day lifestyle, and influence the art I create. My custom tile studio is located next to my home, so that I can be near my family and pets. As always, you must have an appointment to visit my studio, and showroom. I create tile by the piece to fit your needs. My tiles can be installed in any project you have that calls for tile. Let me know your installation location, and I can recommend which glaze or tile you will need. History: Through 10 years of independent research and experimentation, I have worked in mediums ranging from dye-work on fibers from cotton to silk, to printing and papermaking. I own hundreds of copyrights on my creations. My focus of the last 15 years has been on refining my knowledge and skill of the ancient fine art painting technique of ebru (Western Marbling). Now, I am combining my ebru aqueous monoprints with handmade ceramic tile, which provides a permanent, durable and beautiful surface. The fusing of the two techniques has required extensive research in formulating colors, and methods to achieve the desired effect and quality standard. At Watermark Tile, every order is a custom order. I work on a first come, first serve basis, require that my terms be met, and consult with the customer on a one on one basis. I am my own representative of this independent tile line. I look forward to working with you on your future projects.
